Makoto Kagoshima
"Never keep anything in your home that is neither useful nor beautiful."

Over 100 years ago, the British artist and thinker William Morris said this. His philosophy gradually spread from Britain to the rest of the world, becoming a catalyst for people to pay attention to their daily lives. Across time and space, in Fukuoka, Kyushu, the ceramic artist and artist Makoto Kagoshima (1967–) also strives every day to improve people's lives.

This is the first large-scale exhibition of Makoto Kagoshima, who has attracts attention with works such as ceramics, textiles, and prints. The venue will feature approximately 200 vessels of various colors and shapes adorned with animals and plants, lining large tables and wall surfaces for "breakfast," "lunch," and "dinner." Additionally, various products and works born from collaborations with fashion, interior design, and food will be introduced in daily life situations such as "taking a walk" and "good night." Through Makoto Kagoshima and his works, this exhibition invites viewers to reflect on their daily lives and contemplate living.
