Manabu Kamo
The Chinese character for "tsui" is believed to have originated from the way the soil is struck when making wooden blocks for printing. It symbolizes facing each other during tasks. This exhibition introduces handwriting produced with a conscious consideration of "tsui," not limited to words or characters but including works like paired phrases forming a single piece.
