Marimo Sato
Mairimo Sato is a painter who has consistently painted flowers and landscapes with flowers since her first solo exhibition in 2007. In her early years, Sato painted figurative paintings reminiscent of Romanticism, but after her solo exhibition “Bloom" in 2017, she shifted to a semi-abstract style that highlights color and brushstrokes.
This solo exhibition was conceived in the wake of "Transparent Blue Bird," which Sato painted in 2020. The title of the exhibition and the work is a metaphor for Mairimo Sato's current feelings.
