The famous picture book series "Marl the Ghost" originates from Sapporo. The year 2023 marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Kotaro Mikishi, the 40th anniversary of the opening of the museum, and the 15th anniversary of the arrival of Marl the Ghost at the museum. In this milestone year, we will exhibit the original drawings from the previous and newest books.
