Artists

Masaaki Ohya
Masaaki Ohya's main theme is the "life and death" of life as seen in natural phenomena that occur in our daily lives. He is currently teaching at Tama Art University as an associate professor of printmaking in the Department of Painting while participating in exhibitions in Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world, and continuing to work energetically.

The title of this exhibition, his first solo show at s+arts in four years, "Correspondances" is the French word for correspondence.

In addition to the "Correspondances" series, Ohya will also present "The Days View-Life force Series," in which he explores his own theme of the life cycle, using a wide variety of flowers and plants that bloom in his garden, which he is always familiar with as the source of his motifs.

The exhibition will consist of approximately 20 works, including copperplate prints, lithographs, and objets d'art.
