Masaya Kondo
Masaya Kondo, born in Okayama in 1995, majored in ceramics at the department of Industrial Interior and Craft Design at Musashino Art University. He was mentored by the earthenware artist Yukiharu Kumagai. After graduating, he worked at his university for one year before returning to Okayama, where he started crafting. Currently, he continues to make ceramics in a mountain village in Okayama. In preparation for this exhibition, Kondo has made a new pit kiln. The bowls, small plates, and objects that will be displayed and sold were all fired in there.
