Artists

Masayoshi Nojo
Masayoshi Nojo was born in 1989 in Kanagawa, Japan, and graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2015. Nojo is an emerging artist who draws inspiration from phenomena in the natural world and attempts to visualize "states" on the canvas. Not bound by existing painting techniques, he pursues themes such as people's memories and the passage of time using pioneering methods such as photography, silkscreen, and metal foil, which have been highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad.

In the "Mirage" series, which Nojo has been creating continuously in recent years, light reflections from different viewing angles and in different viewing spaces, such as lighting, add an invisible image to the overall picture, creating a mirage-like ambiguous presence that leaves a fantastic aftertaste in the viewer's mind. This exhibition will also include the "Flicker" and "Link" series, providing an opportunity to see Nojo's further development.
