Issei Hatakeyama (Sokuo), a founder of EBARA Corporation and a sukisha (a Japanese tea ceremony master), collected artwork for many years and established the Hatakeyama Memorial Museum of Fine Art. This exhibition introduces masterpieces of the tea ceremony and Rimpa school, as well as objects related to Fumai Matsudaira, from the collection of the Hatakeyama Memorial Museum, which is currently closed due to renovation work. This is the first exhibition held in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions.
