Abstract paintings and soft sculptures created by Mayumi Yamase focus on things that are invisible to the eye but exist there, such as the inside of the body and the movement of emotions. As its title suggests, "The Elephant in the Room" represents a new space created when the atmospheres created by us, without being conscious of it, along with the atmospheres created by others, collide and create a new space that appears invisible to the eye but exists there. There will be dozens of canvases on display, including large paintings and four soft sculptures.
