In October 2022, Michael Kenna is expected to visit Tokyo first time since 2019, and Toshio Shibata is gaining recognition for his exhibition at the Artizon Museum. Kenna is a master of the traditional monochrome technique, while Shibata goes beyond photography to explore expression in the form of tableaux. The exhibition features the photographs of two masters who have completely different ways of expression despite their commitment to film.
