Miki Sato has been using "face" as a motif in her works to express the energy of the world and its interpretation of formless, complex, and unverbalized energy. In this exhibition, Sato will present a new work that uses the same "face" motif but focuses on the word "shadow," which has not only the meaning of darkness as used today but also the etymological meaning of “shadow."
This will be Sato's eighth solo exhibition at our gallery in two years, following her first exhibition "Mountain Messenger" in 2010, when the gallery first opened.
