Artists

Mikio Ishiguro
Mikio Ishiguro is an artist known for creating a variety of objects using deer leather. As part of this exhibition, Ishiguro displays corroded artworks that blur the boundaries between humans and nature. Using deer hide, the artist will envelop different objects, gradually transforming them from artificial to natural, creating an evolving exhibition space. Deer hide symbolizes the origins of life, protection, and transformation. With the lighting, the artworks create a contrast between light and shadow, increasing the unique spatial and atmospheric effects created by deer hide. It offers new perspectives on the relationship between humans and nature and the essence of existence as Ishiguro explores the theme of equilibrium through ambiguity and uncertainty.
