"Minato no Art 2023" is a citywide art event held in Yokohama for the third time this year.
Under the concept of " Art in Life," art events and gallery tours are planned this year to increase opportunities to experience art in places and themes familiar to daily life. A wide variety of artists, from young to experienced, will participate, including painters, photographers, and handwork artists with connections to Yokohama.
One of the programs of "Minato no Art 2023" is "Minato no Neko," a cat art event that uses familiar cats as the subject of art. A large three-dimensional work of cat art will appear in the historical building of the former Daiichi Bank Yokohama Branch.
Talk shows, artist booths, and workshops will also be held, and on the evening of Saturday, October 28, visitors can enjoy a light display on the building.
