Experiencing the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, sculptor Mio Hashimoto believes that although we cannot recover the lives lost, we can preserve the evidence of animals' lives forever. Therefore, the works created by Hashimoto are not molds of wood, but expressions of life.
