A two-person exhibition by Momoka Nakamura and Sumire Funakoshi. Both artists approach their work in a similar manner, in which they consciously penetrate beyond the subjects they depict and explore the unseen realms beyond what is visible. In Nakamura's paintings, the subjects intertwine with their surroundings, directing attention to the untouchable emotions and memories that exist beyond the act of touching. Funakoshi focuses on the ambiguous and polysemous subjects, as if shifting the focus, to explore the memories of individuals that are reflected through the presence of light.
