Kumagai Morikazu Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Morikazu Kumagai
In late 1932, Morikazu Kumagai moved to Chihaya in Toshima, the final home, into a small wooden house with a garden and the first personal studio. This exhibition explores Kumagai’s life and work through the artist's belongings and art materials. Unlike typical artist studios, Kumagai’s atelier resembled a blacksmith’s workshop, filled with clocks, tools, and lenses.
