This exhibition introduces contemporary artists who are looking at themselves during today’s societal upheaval and are creating work in response to various social issues, to explore the commonalities of the times, and to help recall and restore the role of art.
The artists featured in this exhibition include Tetsuya Ishida, Yuji Oki, Chu Sato, Katsuaki Sigeno, Saki Murakami, Natsuko Tanihara, Yukyo Yamamoto, Minako Ishikawa, Mineo Goto, Takeshi Tanaka, Ryohei Matsumoto, Ayana Yoda, and Kosuke Yoneyama. These artists deal with the environment, garbage, ecology, nuclear power, and various social issues.
