The "Experimental Workshop (Jikken Kobo)" was the starting point for avant-garde art in post-war Japan. For a short period of time, young artists and musicians gathered to collaborate on stage productions and presentations, aiming for a unified art form. This exhibition features paintings by Katsuhiro Yamaguchi and kites by Shozo Kitadai and introduces some of the activities of the other members of the "Experimental Workshop," including Hideko Fukushima, Tetsuro Komai, and Kiyoji Otsuji.
