Sakumi Hagiwara, Ryoichi Enomoto
Sakumi Hagiwara (b. 1946) and Ryoichi Enomoto (b. 1947), who met while they were involved in Shuji Terayama’s theatre company, published a magazine called Bikkuri House (Fun House) in the 1970s and ’80s. This exhibition focuses on works by Hagiwara, who made films, photographs, prints, and artist books, and Enomoto, who transcribed the entire text of Tatsuhiko Shibusawa’s novel Takaoka Shinno Kokai-ki (The Travels of Prince Takaoka) and made illustrations for it.
