The John Paul II Museum, situated in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, showcases a remarkable collection of 450 valuable pieces spanning Western art history. Among this extensive assortment, 61 works dating back 400 years, from the 16th-century Renaissance to the Impressionist era, are set to be displayed in Japan. This exhibition delves into the captivating portrayal of women, an essential theme in Western painting, through three distinct perspectives: 'Mother and Child,' 'Mythology and Legends,' and 'Portraits.' It takes visitors on a discovery journey, examining how masters like Rembrandt, Cranach, Goya, and others portrayed women, delving into the significance of women and beauty in the context of their eras.
