Naho Ide
Naho Ide uses oil paint, oil pastel, calcite, shells, and other materials to create landscapes. Although they appear at first glance to be abstract paintings, they are landscapes Ide envisions based on nature the artist encounters on hikes or from reading novels. To give the viewer a more palpable sense of expression and tactile sensation, Ide has tried close-ups in recent years. By exhibiting a variety of flowers in the same space, which contain powerful yet delicate signs of rain, and at the same time reflect Ide's own sensitivity and psychology, the exhibition will explore the depths that can be glimpsed through them.
