Fuji Gallery Shinjuku, located on the basement floor of Hilton Tokyo, Nishi-Shinjuku, is pleased to present the exhibition “Name” from Saturday, August 2 to Sunday, August 24, 2025.
The act of naming is to give something a name—a gesture that breathes life into the unnamed. It is at once an expression of responsibility and affection on the part of the creator. In this exhibition, “name”, five young artists currently studying in the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University—, , , and —give names to the characters, landscapes, and worlds they have each brought to life from their unique perspectives, taking a first step into self-expression.
