The year 2024 marks the 70th anniversary of the commencement of the first excavation of the Naniwa Palace Site.

To celebrate this milestone year, the exhibition showcases an extensive range of findings from the decades-long excavations of the Naniwa Palace Site, clearly depicting the role played by the Naniwa Palace in the renowned Taika Reform, a major event in ancient Japan, from various angles through historical records and traditions.
