Naoki Kimura
Naoki Kimura is a photographic artist born in Kyoto's Nishijin district, specializing in monochrome original print works. He moved to the United States in 1987 and currently operates from bases in New York and Tokyo. While his earlier works were centered around productions in Europe, in recent years he has also presented works featuring Japanese landscapes.
This exhibition showcases his recent works capturing fleeting moments of beauty created by the light within activities. Held during the season when an international photography festival takes place across various locations in Kyoto, the exhibition at Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore explores the beauty and possibilities of photography as an art form.
