Naoya Yoshikawa
Naoya Yoshikawa, born in Nara Prefecture, has taught at universities and exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions. He has also been invited to artist residencies and international photography festivals, and is energetically active in Japan and abroad with photography at the core of his work. For his first solo exhibition at Bloom Gallery, he will present "The Albums," an exhibition based on the theme of family, reconstructing two series, "Family Album" and "Happy Dog," which were shown in Tokyo in 2020 and 2022, respectively.

As a related event to the exhibition, an artist talk by Naoya Yoshikawa, "Weaving Photographs," will be held on March 26 (Sun.). In the talk event, he will talk about the making of his photo books and artworks while showing dummy books of the two series he has published. During the exhibition, a limited edition of 30 copies of "The Albums Box" will also be on sale.
