"Nara Machiya Art Festival Hanarart" is an art project that aims to promote the culture and lifestyle of Nara from the past to the future by discovering the local values in the prefecture.
As a three-year project since 2020, 'Hanarart' focuses on environmental issues from the perspective of contemporary art. The art festival is centered on a curator's exhibition and offers a diverse program of events, including the 'Sustainable Lectures', 'Hanarart Cinema', 'Hanarart Sunday Marche' and 'Hanararto Artshop', learning about environmental issues and sustainable living.
