New Collection Exhibition

In commemorating the 50th anniversary of the museum's opening, the museum has acquired "Flowers of the Four Seasons/Ashiga," a double-sided folding screen with six scrolls and one panel, by Joshunsai Katsube, a painter associated with Nishinomiya who was active in the mid-Edo period. This is the first public display of this work.

In addition, a small exhibition of works by Etsuko Kawamura and Akira Kurosaki, newly acquired in 2021, and the collection of Otani Takejiro, who was the foundation of our museum, will be introduced respectively.
