Tagboat is pleased to present “New Wave,” the first group exhibition at our new gallery in Ningyoucho. This exhibition is dedicated to showcasing the distinctive techniques and expressions of four talented artists.
Gouki Ota draws inspiration from his imaginative nation “Empire of Koushu,” and brings his unique perspective to life in his artworks. Cotalou explores the very structure of “painting” and infuses his own conceptual approach to creation. Shina Sato‘s art captures the essence of contemporary Japanese women during the Heisei era rooted in personal experiences. Shinji Nakakaze‘s work conveys a sense of reality within anime characters, delving into essentials while unraveling various elements.
