This exhibition features images of Niigata captured by artists along with works from the museum's collection.

The work in this exhibition is a mixture of the eyes of those who have grown up in Niigata and the fresh views of those who have come from other parts of the world and discovered the region through walking around. What kind of place is this? The diverse visual expressions that unfold like a prism in each room will take viewers on a journey that transcends time and space.

In addition, short animated films will be screened in cooperation with the 1st Niigata International Animated Film Festival to be held in 2023.

Opening Hours Information

Hours	9:30-18:00 Open 9:30-17:00 during winter.
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.

Fee

Adults ¥500, University and High School Students ¥400, Junior High School Students and Under free.

From the Bandai exit of JR Niigata Station, take the #C6 bus and get off at Nishibori-dori Hachibancho. The venue is 5 minute walk from there. From the Bandai exit of JR Niigata Station, take the #B1 bus and get off at Furumachi. The venue is 12 minute walk from there.
