Nobuaki Maeda
Nobuaki Maeda's solo exhibition showcases artworks exploring materials, time, place, and self-relationship. The canvas frames are deliberately deformed, maintaining a specific ratio of 1.085:1 between vertical and horizontal dimensions, a sacred ratio devised by Maeda. Through the use of pigments, acrylics, and water, the artist layers colors and forms until absolute space is achieved within the artwork.
