Traveling the world and encountering countless works of art through art fairs and overseas galleries, the married couple Shunji and Seiko Oketa have been collecting works that captivated them like love at first sight. Their journey began with antique collecting, but it was in 2010, after encountering the works of Yayoi Kusama, that they began their serious collection of contemporary art.
The Oketa Collection started in 2019 and is now celebrating its 6th edition. The theme for this edition is "Golden Memory." We hope that you will feel a special connection and memory with the timeless works on display.
