Art brings inspiring experiences to everyday life. Spiral Garden, which offers daily art that is easy to incorporate into your life, will be showcasing works by three artists, Mika Takeuchi, Tombo Sensei, and Melmo Mikami, that focus on things that are being forgotten.

These things are consumed, forgotten, and eventually disappear. But there is still a piece of life there that once made someone smile and warmed their heart.

Mika Takeuchi's illustrations are of Melody Pets, a theme park ride that has been left behind by the times. Born in the Showa era, the figure of the Melody Pet, which continues to walk slowly even today, is not only cute, but also brings back memories of loneliness and childhood.

Tombo Sensei is working on a project called "Before you become a memory" to bring a new light to beloved stuffed animals that will probably never be produced again, and to bring smiles to their faces. He knows that they will be forgotten over time, but he still hopes that they will become someone's memories, and by drawing three lines, he creates new value.

Melmo Mikami creates her works using the face-in-hole panels found in theme parks etc. From the perspective of a creature other than humans, she brings invisible emotions and memories to the surface through a unique expression that incorporates video.

I hope that your summer vacation will be an opportunity to reconnect with forgotten memories and the warmth deep in your heart. Please take this opportunity to check it out.
