As a collaborative program of Art Collaboration Kyoto, this exhibition introduces contemporary art from the Philippines. The exhibiting artists are well known for their works and activities in the Philippines, Asia, and the United States. Each of them is working independently as an artist while dealing with society and collaborating with commercial galleries. One of the exhibitors, Mariano Chin, studied woodblock prints at the Kyoto City University of Arts from 2002 to 2004. Japanese artist Hitoshi Kanemura has experience exhibiting his work at both the gallery and the Philippines.
