This time, Kameido Art Center will host the group exhibition "Pixel Patch Punch" featuring seven pixel artists.

Last year's group exhibition "VeriCard" transcended the boundaries of digital and analog, demonstrating the potential of pixel art through various expressions, providing fresh surprises not only to pixel art enthusiasts but also to art fans who had not previously explored this realm.

Due to its accessibility and depth of expression, pixel art has been increasingly expanding its base in recent years, becoming beloved by many people across generations. This exhibition features a diverse group of artists pursuing originality and carving their paths without being confined to genres or media: M7kenji, Zennyan, Motocross Saito, Helmippe, BAN8KU, Nanami Snow, and Sanaenvy.

The exhibition title "Pixel Patch Punch" is named after the "punch card system," a precursor to digital technology, symbolizing the artists' creation process as they traverse between analog and digital realms. It represents the accessibility of pixel art and the bridging qualities that these artists bring to their work.

Their pixel art, which cannot be fully experienced within the confines of a PC, awaits exploration at this exhibition.
