René Lalique
Omura Museum is pleased to present an exhibition featuring the works of René Lalique.
Lalique, a leading decorative artist during the Art Deco period at the beginning of the 20th century, produced more than 5,000 designs for glass works alone. His works range from perfume bottles, cosmetic lids, vases, car mascots, lamps, wine glasses, and tableware to outdoor fountains and decorative glass panels. This exhibition introduces and displays approximately 100 pieces of Lalique's glass works from the museum's collection, along with ceramics designed by his daughter Suzanne and fashion prints from the same period.
