Ricardo Gonzalez
Fascinated by the beauty of his grandfather's calligraphy in the 1960s, Ricardo Gonzalez took up calligraphy himself and studied typography in New York, being strongly influenced by the graffiti culture along the way. Ricardo's unique style, established by combining the strong calligraphic elements of calligraphy with the interesting aspects of typography that affect the overall graphical quality of the screen, is characterized by an elegant and refined expression while maintaining the temperature of street culture.

"A Day in the Life" is a new series inspired by the 1960s jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery's album of the same name. Life is a roller coaster of emotions and many things happen in a day. This series was created to celebrate the wonder of these daily events. This exhibition, Gonzalez's fourth in two years, consists of his first attempt at a semi-thick, laser-cut work made of fiberboard, as well as a three-dimensional work made of steel.

The opening reception will be held on the first day of the exhibition with the artist himself in the gallery.
