"Roku-no-jo," a male deer who had been popular in Nara Park for many years, unfortunately, passed away on December 10th last year. Roku-no-jo, known for his large, drooping ears, was affectionately called "Droopy-eared Roku" and had gained popularity through television appearances.

This exhibition marks the first anniversary of Roku's passing and is presented by two photographers, Takatin and Yusuke Hashimoto, who were captivated by Roku and continued to photograph him during their visits to Nara Park. All exhibited works were captured using a telephoto prime lens with the aperture wide open. The prints, some as large as B0 size, showcase exceptional bokeh and rendering, providing an unparalleled sense of power and presence.
