The Roppongi Art Night Executive Committee will hold Roppongi Art Night 2023, a one-night art extravaganza in the town of Roppongi, for two days from Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, May 28, 2023, for the first time in four years.

The main program will feature Takashi Kuribayashi, Cinema Caravan, and Tomoko Konoike, who will present a variety of works under the theme of "Illustrated Guide to Urban Creatures" in the Roppongi area.

Roppongi Art Night 2023 will feature approximately 70 programs by 45 up-and-coming artists, including the main program artists. The "White Wings" program by the international performance company Close-Act Theatre will be a realistic, experiential program, with characters wearing giant white wings, performing dynamically with music and light effects at various locations in Roppongi.

The entire area of Roppongi, where art museums, other cultural facilities, large complexes, and shopping streets are concentrated, will be the site for paintings, installations, music, performances, videos, talks, and other programs that will allow visitors to imagine life in the city from the perspective of the great workings of the natural world and cycles.

In addition to the exhibition of artworks, this year's program will be further enhanced by the incorporation of digital content, and will showcase the further possibilities of art in society.
