Ryo Otobe + Kazumi Noguchi "Spring Thunder"

Luft+alt
Finished

Artists

Ryo Otobe, Kazumi Noguchi
Japanese-style painter Ryo Otobe settled in Kanazawa post-graduation, drawn to its coastal landscape. Their art, depicting the sky, sea, soil, sand, grass, and shrubs, reflects a deep affection for the land. The exhibition at Luft+alt showcases stunning landscapes, inviting viewers to sense the vibrant colors, scents, and spring ambiance.

Glass artist Kazumi Noguchi specializes in pate de verre vessels. Transitioning from bag making to glass art in 2024, Noguchi's pieces feature basic shapes with a white base, nuanced with milky shades and delicate marble patterns. The uneven shading and color flow evoke a tranquil, shimmering atmosphere akin to spring haze. The matte-textured plates are versatile for various dishes, promising both functionality and beauty.
