Starting from September 14, Book and Sons hosts a photography exhibition titled "Lale" by Ryo Tsuchida. August 2024 marked the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkey. Photographer Tsuchida traveled to the other side of Asia, capturing its light on film. The motif, "lale," refers to the tulip, which is Turkey's national flower. Tsuchida traveled through the Anatolian Peninsula, known as the tulip's origin, and photographed over 100 sheets of 120 film, focusing on rare inverted tulips and wild species.
