"Anomalia" is a solo exhibition by Ryoichi Kurokawa, the first at the gallery in five years. The exhibition features two new works: "Frame of Reference" and "Atom [Mute]." "Anomalia" explores deviations from norms and irregularities through intricate audiovisual experiences. "Frame of Reference" uses sculpturally arranged displays to create abstract visual sequences from natural color data, while "Atom [Mute]" incorporates glitch processing of quantum technology data to explore human perception. Kurokawa’s work combines environmental data with digital elements, evoking sensory responses and bridging the natural and virtual worlds.
