Ryosuke Kataoka + Daigo Sakuragi "Tonestones"

Sony Park Mini
Finished

Artists

Ryosuke Kataoka, Daigo Sakuragi
In this program, Ryosuke Kataoka will express the traces created by the improvisation of the body, which is one of his styles, by dipping stones and other objects in paint and rolling them onto a large piece of white paper, The synthesizer is used to generate sound from the vibrations generated by the act of drawing the lines (rolling the stones). The first performance will be held in the space of Sony Park Mini, with the intention of creating a "coincidence" of the two creations fusing together in real-time.

The first performance will be held on Wednesday, April 12, the first day of the exhibition. The second and third performances will follow on Saturday, April 22, and Saturday, April 29, respectively, with an archive of works, sounds, and images created during the performances. Visitors will be able to see the space being updated in a multilayered manner. The performance will also be live-streamed on Instagram.

Please enjoy the live performance that fuses drawing and music, and the changing installation woven by these works.
