Ryu Furusawa
Ryu Furusawa has been pushing the boundaries of visual expression beyond traditional painting and imagery. Since 2020, Furusawa has been focused on creating the video piece "Waves Etude" by capturing seascapes and manipulating the temporal axis of the footage. Furusawa's unique approach involves extracting various rhythms from the natural phenomenon of waves. The evolution of this work led to the Mid Tide series, which explores multiple temporal flows simultaneously, transforming them into distortions in space.
