The Kuma Foundation provides mid- to long-term support through its "Activity Support" program for graduates of the Creator Scholarship Program. As part of the “Kuma Selection" program, a series of projects by activity support students, Ryunosuke Okazaki's solo exhibition "002 Lifelike" will be held.

Okazaki, who grew up in Hiroshima, surrounded by nature with a view of the torii gate and Itsukushima Shrine floating on the sea, has been creating works with the keywords "prayer," "nature," and "peace" as the source of his expression. Influenced by the ancient history of prayer in Japan, Okazaki's handmade sculptures embody a prayer and a wish for life. In the process of creating all of his works, he never designs a finished image. For Okazaki, the act of creation is prayer itself.

In this exhibition, "002 -lifelike-," Okazaki presents "PIMT," a wood sculpture, "JomonJomon," a dress inspired by Jomon pottery, and soft sculptures.
