Saburo Miyamoto
Saburo Miyamoto (1905-1974), while referencing Western art as a Western-style painter, was strongly conscious of his identity as a Japanese artist. This exhibition explores the "Japan" that emerges in the world of Miyamoto's work from various perspectives, from his choice of subjects and techniques to his artistic vision.
