Artists

Saki Murakami
The exhibition features new works by copperplate artist Saki Murakami.
As the artist sees it, copperplate represents the heart, lines represent wounds, ink represents blood, and paper represents a bandage (something that heals). Using free brush strokes, Murakami creates large copperplate prints expressing the artist's own memories of life and feelings about the real world are expressed in sometimes cruel and disturbing scenes.
In this exhibition, there will be about five to six large copperplate prints including new works as well as numerous smaller works.
