Artists

Sareena Sattapon
Sareena Sattapon, drawing from her background as a member of a Thai ethnic minority and inspiration from everyday life, has continued to create works across various media such as performance art, photography, video art, and installations.

This exhibition, "In the Realm Beyond Spectrum," aims to establish a performance space composed of white cubes and glass walls, along with a six-channel documentary video, to connect the audience with the artwork. The videos are inspired by the life story of Sattapon's aunt living in Thailand, reimagined within the context of Japan. Viewers will experience the artwork from both "inside" and "outside" perspectives, becoming part of the artwork itself, thus shifting their role from spectators to co-creators. The seemingly endless relationship between individuals and space serves as a clue for viewers to revisit the connections they hold.
