Scool Cinematheque Vol. 4 presents a solo exhibition of Reiji Saito. Born in Tokyo in 1987, Saito is an artist who studied oil painting at Musashino Art University but has been creating highly unique video works since around 2008. In recent years, his work has garnered attention beyond the context of art alone.
This retrospective will screen nearly all of Saito's works, from his first video piece "1," created in 2008 while he was still in university, to his latest work "31." Additionally, on the 10th, there will be a talk session featuring Arata Mino and Hiroki Yamamoto (from Inu no Senaka-za), moderated by Atsushi Sasaki. On the 11th, a live performance by Takako Minekawa will also take place.
