Like ships passing in the night, artists often utilize the same motif but towards different ends. The subjects may be parallel, perpendicular, at acute or obtuse angles, or existing at different altitudes, but to have flying rights, certain criteria must be met.
These works of Andrzej Zielinski and Jonathan Hartshorn share similar aircraft as subject, but treatment and destinations do not share the same plain. The current world of drones conjures up issues of surveillance, small ticket delivery, while planes evoke travel to distant dream destinations or returns home.
