This exhibition introduces work depicting the indefinable, ever-changing, indefinite, and indefinable through paintings, sculptures, drawings, videos, and photographs from Japan's modern and contemporary periods. Artists sharpen their senses and try to capture the flowing atmosphere, surrounding space and time, and their relationship and way of being. By examining the light, particles, and contours that fill the scene, or by examining brushstrokes and materials, and by connecting to language, they give form to existence that transcends matter.
